Halloween Candy Buy Back!

Doctor Glick's office has an annual Halloween candy Buy Back every fall.
In November of 2011 Doctor Glick's office held its third annual Halloween Candy Buy Back. During this event, Doc "purchased" the children's extra halloween candy for one dollar per pound and gave them a goody bag filled with fun dental supplies. Each child also had a chance to win an ipod by entering a raffle. The donated candy was then boxed up and sent to Operation Gratitude out in California, and then on to individual troops serving our country in the military. Typically over two hundred pounds of candy is donated! As Doctor Glick describes it….  “A little taste of home from those who appreciate all they are sacrificing for us.”


Marshall Hill Elementary School got involved with the event in 2011 and collected over 170lbs. of candy for the troops abroad! We are proud of the generous kids and great student council advisor at Marshall Hill Elementary School.

A total of about 300lbs of donated candy was sent to Operation Gratitude in California and then separated into individual packages... and then on to our bravest for a "taste of home".
